(Senior) Data Scientist (m/f/d)

in Berlin or at one of our Helios locations.

Do you want to use your analytical skills to sustainably improve the quality of care in Germany? We are now looking for a (Senior) Medical Data Scientist who will contribute to the optimization of patient care with innovative data analyses and groundbreaking models. As part of the implementation of our digitalization strategy, we are working on the further development of our corporate reporting into a platform for data-based medicine and highly innovative Real World Evidence (RWE) projects.

• Gain medical insights: You derive valuable insights from clinical data and translate them into concrete recommendations for action
• Developing analyses for quality improvement: You design and implement algorithms and models to identify gaps in care and measurably improve the quality of treatment
• Data visualization for stakeholders: You prepare results for medical decision-makers and present them at all organizational levels - in an understandable and targeted manner
• Consulting and interface work: You will support internal teams as a competent consultant for data science and data-driven decision-making processes

• Agile mindset and sense of responsibility: You are a structured thinker, act in an agile manner and are happy to take on responsibility
• Programming skills and affinity for technology: You are proficient in Python or R; knowledge of Spark is an advantage
• Experience with healthcare data: Ideally, you are familiar with interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR and understand the requirements for healthcare data
• Analytical strength and innovative spirit: You work precisely with structured and unstructured data from various sources and are open to new methods and technologies
• Academic background: You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering or a comparable qualification
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
