SAP S/4HANA Business Partner Master Data Specialist

Master Data Management:

• Create, maintain, and update Business Partner (BP) master data, including customer and vendor records.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all relevant SAP modules (e.g., FI, MM, SD).

• Manage data quality by performing regular audits and data cleansing activities.

• Coordinate with relevant departments (e.g., Finance, Sales, Procurement) to gather and validate BP data requirements.

  Data Governance and Compliance:

• Adhere to the company’s data governance policies and procedures. ▪

• Implement data validation and verification processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

• Monitor and resolve data quality issues, working with cross-functional teams to correct discrepancies.

  Process Optimization:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of BP data management.

• Develop and maintain documentation for BP master data processes and procedures.

• Provide recommendations for system enhancements or modifications to support business needs.

  User Support and Training:

• Act as the primary point of contact for BP master data-related queries and issues.

• Provide training and support to end-users on BP data processes and best practices.

• Assist in the development of user guides, training materials, and SOPs related to BP master data management.

  System Integration and Projects:

• Collaborate with IT and SAP functional teams on system integration and data migration projects.

• Participate in the testing and implementation of SAP S/4HANA updates and new functionalities related to BP data.

• Support project teams with BP data setup and configuration during SAP S/4HANA rollouts or upgrades.

• At least 6+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Management, with a focus on Business Partner data

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with the BP concept.

• Experience in an SME environment is preferred.

• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, specifically in the areas of FI, MM, SD, and BP management.

• Strong understanding of data governance and data management principles.

• Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques (e.g., LSMW, SAP Data Services)

• Keeps himself/herself informed about current requirements, technologies, trends and news which directly influence his/her area of responsibility as well as necessary competencies.

• Proactively communicates with the other team members and affected stakeholders on potential, latest solutions, as well as the impact on the overall design.
