The Head of Employee Engagement is part of the People Strategy & Culture team within Fresenius Group HR. This role is responsible for designing and implementing strategies to enhance the employee experience and improve overall engagement and retention. Currently, the role has the primary responsibility for the design, administration and analysis of the Fresenius Global Employee Engagement Survey, ensuring the voice of all our 190,000+ employees are heard, understood and leveraged to build a connected, motivated and productive workforce.
Measure and continuously improve the employee experience through quantitative and qualitative data.
Collaborating with various stakeholders to design Group-wide survey and pulse checks to capture meaningful insights into employee satisfaction, engagement, and cultural alignment.
Oversee the deployment of the survey, including scheduling, communications, and coordination across departments. Work with HRIS and survey platform providers to ensure high participation and smooth distribution, tracking and collection of responses.
Analyze results to identify trends, strengths and areas for improvement. Present findings to senior leaders and HR, and consult, track and report out the impact of key engagement initiatives over time.
Continuously refine and improve survey approach to enhance data quality, survey experience and response rates.
Ensure compliance with all confidentiality, workers council, data privacy/protection, reasonable assurance and ethical requirements.
Time permitting, design, lead and/or support selective engagement initiatives in support of programs or actions focused on employee engagement.
Stay current on best practices, tools and trends in employee engagement topics.
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred
Minimum 5 years combined experience in relevant field(s), e.g., Human Resources, communications, employee engagement, and/or change management
Knowledge of employee engagement surveys, platforms, strategies and tools
Excellent project management skills, with proven track record of indirectly managing and influencing stakeholders across the organization
Advanced analytical skills, experienced in detecting trends and translating data into meaningful insights and actionable measures to drive improvement
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience crafting executive-level presentations and native-level proficiency (oral and written) in German and English
