Employee Medical Controlling / Coding Specialist (m/f/d)

For our Helios Klinik Jerichower Land site in Burg, we are looking for you as a full-time or part-time medical controlling employee (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

• Independent case coding based on paper and digital files until billing approval in compliance with the applicable coding guidelines

• Processing of MD reports
• Active feedback to the doctors, nursing and functional services of the department to improve service documentation and processes
• Final check of selected cases before and independent release for billing
• Working in a competent team with knowledge transfer and regular exchange of information

• Completed vocational training as a nurse or medical assistant (m/f/d) and ideally training as a clinical coding specialist with professional experience is desirable

• Knowledge of ICD and OPS as well as knowledge of coding guidelines
• Good IT skills with MS Office applications and
• hospital information systems, ideally ISH Med
• Good communication skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
