Head of Supply Chain Management (m/f/d)

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and optimizing our supply chain operations worldwide, ensuring efficiency and effective collaboration across all business units. Your Assignments:

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the global SCM team

• Strategic management and optimization of the global supply chain department to ensure a timely, cost optimized delivery of demand to the customers

• Responsible for long-term planning & balancing of demand and capacity within the global production network for capacity allocation between the production units

• Driving continuous forecast improvement initiatives and harmonize the planning parameters within the local supply chain departments in the production network

• Continuous inventory management and optimization

• Owner of sales and operations meetings between commercial organization and production units across the globe

• Shaping and developing the supply chain strategy of our company

• Lead and drive cross functional supply chain projects together with other Fresenius Kabi Business Units (SAP rollout, S&OP improvements, backorder process)

• Establishment and further development of key KPI reporting to the Top Management

• Responsible for execution of global phase in/out projects

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or related field, ideally in a global or multinational setting

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics and strategic planning principles

• Experience in leading and managing teams

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and its applications in a global supply chain context

• Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically about long-term goals and align plans with the organization’s overall strategy

• Proven experience working in a multicultural environment, fostering collaboration across divers teams and departments

• Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and spoken)

• Resilience and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and organizational needs
