YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Management and organization of the "Kitchen" area, including planning and implementation of daily catering for patients and employees
  • Ensuring the high quality of meals, taking into account dietary requirements (e.g. nutrition plans, special diets)
  • Staff deployment planning, training, coordination and management of the kitchen team
  • Responsibility for compliance with hygiene and quality standards as well as legal requirements (e.g. food hygiene, HACCP)
  • Budget responsibility and cost control
  • Close cooperation with the dietary department to ensure a diet that meets requirements and is tasty
  • Ordering, purchasing, receiving, checking and storing food and planning menus in collaboration with the team
  • Monitoring and optimization of work processes as well as the continuous development of kitchen processes

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Completed vocational training
  • Additional further training (e.g. diet chef) an advantage or knowledge in the preparation of diet food and special diets
  • Experience in managing a canteen kitchen, ideally in a medical facility or in the field of therapeutic nutrition
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and a sense of responsibility
  • Independent, self-reliant and hygiene-conscious way of working
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
