Senior Physician Endoscopy (m/f/d)

From 01.04.2025 (or later, depending on notice periods) we are looking for a Senior Physician (m/f/d) in Interventional Endoscopy who would like to become part of our team. Under the leadership of PD Dr. med. Christian Gerges, who took over the management of the clinic on 01.01.2025, you will have the opportunity to further develop endoscopy at the highest level and contribute your expertise.

• Participation in scientific activities and congresses
• You will support and promote the training and guidance of doctors in further training
• An experienced and innovative team as well as a sustainable collegial management structure in the hospital
• Excellent interdisciplinary cooperation (Helios Oncology Center, DKG Intestinal Center)

• Specialist in internal medicine (m/f/d) with a focus on gastroenterology

• Experience in interventional procedures and scientific work is desirable but not a requirement

• Confident mastery of standard procedures in OGD/colonoscopy, EUS and ERCP
• Strong communication and social skills in dealing with patients, employees and colleagues in private practice
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Medical Clinic II (2/9/15) represents the medical focus of internal medicine with gastroenterology, hepatology, neurogastroenterology, infectiology, gastrointestinal oncology, hematology - oncology, palliative medicine and nutritional medicine. Medical Clinic II also includes a department for gastrointestinal functional diagnostics and nutrition, a department for diagnostic and interventional endoscopy with sonography, in which all modern endoscopy procedures (approx. 12,000 examinations/year) with the latest technology are used, and a 10-bed palliative care unit designated in the state bed plan. The Medical Clinic II has full authorization for further training in Common Trunk Internal Medicine and Internal Medicine (together with the other internal medicine clinics), gastroenterology, haemato-oncology, palliative medicine and infectiology and is a recognized training centre for palliative medicine and infectiology.
