In your new role as Senior Manager S/4HANA Finance (m/f/d) you will be responsible for leading a team as well as for the design and architecture of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, ensuring they meet the business needs for financial accounting (FI), treasury, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
Overseeing the configuration and deployment of S/4HANA Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Asset Accounting (AA). Ensure solutions are aligned with best practices and business requirements.
Defining and design the new S/4HANA strategy for Finance area in alignment with the overall Fresenius roadmap.
Implementing and managing S/4HANA solutions for Finance to optimize business process.
Leading the design and architecture of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) solutions to meet business needs.
Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimizations, leveraging the advanced capabilities of S/4HANA.
Acting as the Finance (FI) subject matter expert in S/4HANA projects, leading workshops, blueprint sessions, and guiding the team through complex decision-making processes.
Leading data migration strategies for finance-related data, ensuring accurate and complete data conversion from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA.
Ensure that financial solutions comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and support robust financial reporting and analytics, including real-time financial insights using SAP Fiori and Embedded Analytics.
Collaborating with finance, accounting, and IT teams (both internal and external) to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into effective S/4HANA solutions.
Serving as the finance subject matter expert (SME) during S/4HANA projects, leading workshops, blueprint sessions, and decision-making processes for financial architecture.
Ensure seamless integration of SAP S/4HANA Finance with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) and non-SAP systems, maintaining data integrity and process efficiency across the enterprise.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiencies in financial operations by leveraging S/4HANA’s capabilities, including Universal Journal, Central Finance, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
At least 10 years of relevant experience in a similar IT role with strong focus on SAP Finance modules and S/4HANA
Proven track record in managing geographically dispersed teams
Prior experience within Life Sciences domain desirable
Strong knowledge of S/4HANA innovations in the CO area, such as Universal Journal, Margin Analysis, and Embedded Analytics
Experience in managing complex interdependencies across multiple workstreams and teams
Experience in managing external providers to ensure business continuity
Understanding of integration points and dependencies between SAP modules and other enterprise systems
Knowledge of S/4HANA data migration strategies and tools
Strong ability to manage organizational change during the transition to S/4HANA
Fluent communication skills in English, very good German skills are a plus
