Director Network Transformation Opportunity (m/f/d)

As we expand our portfolio of global and regional projects, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented leader for our Global Network team who is able manage large-scale programs and regional rollouts with precision and agility. You will be responsible for shaping project governance, fostering collaboration, and ensuring successful delivery across diverse business environments. 

This position can be filled in Germany or Poland.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage global initiatives and oversee subsets of global programs (transitions, migrations, rollouts) within your region: Build strong relationships with local business stakeholders, establish standardized processes to introduce and support global initiatives and ensure successful regional rollouts aligned with global standards.

• Lead and motivate project teams within a matrix organization, providing clear direction and fostering accountability.

• Govern the domain’s portfolio prioritization processes associated delivery methods.  

• Manage and deliver large-scale projects or smaller programs throughout their full lifecycle, including setup, estimation, planning, requirements engineering, and testing. 

• Develop and implement processes in collaboration with Operations to ensure smooth handovers and operational readiness. 

• Contribute to the domain’s strategy development in alignment with the business' strategic imperatives.

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and initiating enhancements to existing processes, methods, and standards within the project environment. 

• Own project budgets (internal and external), ensuring financial discipline and transparency. 

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CWNA) preferred

• At least 15 years of professional experience leading IT infrastructure projects in an international business environment with a proven track record of success in delivering complex, global initiatives and regional rollouts (Agile, PMP, or similar frameworks)

• At least 5 years of experience leading technical teams in global enterprise environments, with a focus on infrastructure

• Familiarity with structured (Agile and Waterfall) project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2) and ITIL practices

• Proven ability to manage budgets

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams

• Problem-solving mindset with a hands-on, proactive approach and excellent analytical skills

• Fluent in English and German
