We are looking for a part-time (up to 25h/week) medical-technical laboratory assistant (m/f/d) for our Helios Klinikum am Herzzentrum Leipzig.
With training as an MTLA, VTA or BTA, would you like to use your expertise in the laboratory? Then you've come to the right place!
You will apply cell culture techniques, including the isolation, cultivation, preservation and stimulation of cell cultures.
You will process and prepare biological samples as part of ongoing studies.
You will carry out quantitative real-time PCR analyses to determine gene expression profiles.
You will use Western blot analyses to identify and quantify proteins.
You will carry out histological and immunohistochemical techniques for tissue processing and analysis.
You will have knowledge of FACS analysis and animal handling, in particular handling laboratory animals and performing flow cytometric analyses.
You have completed training as a medical-technical laboratory assistant (MTL) or a comparable qualification and are proficient in the above-mentioned techniques.
You can work independently and in a structured manner and enjoy scientific work in a research laboratory.
You are confident with basic computer applications and have a good command of English.
You are a team player and are willing to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
You are committed to continuous further training and professional development.
