To strengthen the team in the NGS and PCR laboratory at the Institute for Tissue Diagnostics in the MVZ at the Emil van Behring Clinic in Berlin, we are looking for you as

MTLA / Medical-Technical Laboratory Assistant (m/f/d) or BTA / Biological-Technical Assistant (m/f/d)

full-time

• Preanalytics: Examination of human examination materials in molecular pathological and hemato-oncological diagnostics
• Preparation of sections of paraffin-embedded tissue, assessment of sample quality and collection of patient data
• Extraction of nucleic acids from the various sample materials (FFPE, LiquidBiopsy [blood, punctures]), virgin materials) using various manual or automated methods established by us
• Application of state-of-the-art amplification and sequencing methods such as clamped real-time PCR workflows, NGS methods on the latest devices such as the IonTorrent S5-PRIME or NextSeq Illumina, the PCR instruments
• As well as intensive training in IT and databases

• Successfully completed vocational training as MTLA / Medical-Technical Laboratory Assistant or BTA / Biological-Technical Assistant (m/f/d)
• Professional experience in molecular pathology or molecular biology laboratory desirable
• You have a keen interest in learning and applying the new examination methods of molecular pathology and molecular biology
• Motivation, a high degree of responsibility and the ability to work independently round off your profile
• Good IT skills in Microsoft Office
• Fluency in written and spoken German
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

• Careful introduction, training and familiarization with the various workplaces with the aim of independent and responsible implementation
