Helios Klinikum Berlin-Buch is looking for you to start your training as an anesthesia technical assistant (m/f/d) on April 1, 2025.

• The training should enable you to provide expert care to patients during their stay in the anesthesia department
• As an important part of the surgical team, you will support the anesthetist in the operating room after completing your training and be independently responsible for the preparation and aftercare of anesthesia
• Daily tasks include, for example, preparing patients for surgery, providing and caring for the necessary instruments and medical devices as well as caring for and monitoring patients
• Innovative, web-based learning methods in block teaching

• A secondary school leaving certificate or another equivalent school qualification or a lower secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent school qualification, together with successfully completed vocational training with a planned training period of at least two years
• Applicants of non-German origin: work and residence permit, language certificate for the intermediate level II examination with a grade of "good" (corresponds to German level B2 "for the job", although we prefer a C1 German certificate), certificate of secondary school leaving certificate from the school senate
• Ability to work in a team, as you will be working in interdisciplinary teams in the operations area
• Reliable and conscientious
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

Training to become an anesthesia technical assistant (ATA for short) takes place as a 3-year school-based training program. The modern Helios Training Center Berlin with its integrated vocational school for healthcare professions is responsible for imparting theoretical knowledge.

If you are still a minor at the start of training, we also require a copy of the initial medical examination in accordance with the Youth Employment Protection Act from your local health authority (§ 32 JArbSchG).
