To strengthen our nursing team in the palliative care department at Helios Klinikum Leisnig, we are looking for you at the earliest possible date as a

Healthcare and nursing assistant / nurse / nursing specialist / geriatric nurse / caregiver (m/f/d).

• You will ensure patient-oriented and individual basic and treatment care.

• You will ensure compliance with quality standards and actively participate in continuous improvement processes.
• You will advise, accompany and support patients and relatives in difficult situations.
• You will work in an interprofessional and interdisciplinary manner with various specialist areas.
• You will document the care processes continuously and transparently and evaluate their implementation and effectiveness

• Successfully completed training as a healthcare and nursing professional or geriatric nurse or comparable qualification

• You have initial experience in the field of palliative care or have completed further specialist training in palliative care or are willing to do so.
• You show empathy in dealing with seriously ill and dying people and their relatives.
• You are committed to preserving the quality of life and dignity of the people entrusted to your care as far as possible.
• You are characterized by an open-minded, committed and empathetic personality
• You have legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Helios Clinic Leisnig with 160 beds in the departments of anesthesia, intensive care, pain therapy & palliative care, surgery with the departments of visceral surgery, orthopedics and trauma surgery as well as vascular surgery, internal medicine & sleep medicine center with the department of acute geriatrics and early rehabilitation and a radiology institute and a central emergency outpatient clinic treats around 5,300 inpatients and 35,000 outpatients annually.

In addition, a medical care center with orthopaedic, gynaecological and radiological practices has been set up.

The Helios Clinic Leisnig is the emergency doctor location of the rescue association of the former districts of Döbeln, Leipziger Land and the Muldental district and is easily accessible between the Leipzig, Dresden and Chemnitz metropolitan areas on the A14 highway.
