We are looking for you as a full-time or part-time social worker / social education worker (m/f/d) at the Dachau site as soon as possible.

• Counseling patients and their relatives in all psychosocial issues related to cancer and / or palliative care

• Collaboration in the multi-professional team
• Help with medical aftercare and rehabilitation
• Help to ensure home and inpatient aftercare
• Cooperation with participating institutions such as health insurance companies, nursing homes, social care centers, rehabilitation facilities and self-help groups
• Conducting consultations on disability law and, if necessary, providing support with applications

• Completed social pedagogical studies - or comparable training with a reduced range of tasks if necessary - and several years of sound experience in the fields of social work, social counseling, social management or similar.

• Confident handling of MS Office, organizational skills and flexibility
• Cooperation, communication, conflict and contact skills as well as language skills and enjoyment in dealing with people
• High sense of responsibility and reliability
• Ability to respond to other people, their personality and individual situation, to find strategies and solutions for specific problems and to communicate these
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
