Join our Medical Controlling team in Cuxhaven at the earliest possible date as a
Coding Specialist (m/f/d)
full-time.

• Independent case-related and case-closing coding of diagnoses and procedures (ICD-10-GM and OPS) on the basis of patient files in close cooperation with the medical departments Review and processing of primary coding as part of the medical documentation Analysis of coding anomalies and support in optimizing documentation quality Collaboration in the preparation and support of MD audits and processing of payer inquiries.audits and processing of payer inquiries Close collaboration with the medical controlling teams at several hospital sites and participation in cross-site projects Involvement in training and advising medical and nursing colleagues on coding and documentation:on coding and documentation topics

• Completed training in the healthcare sector (e.g. medical assistant, healthcare and nursing assistant) with completed further training as a coding specialist Sound knowledge of the German coding guidelines (DKR), the DRG system and ideally the current MD guideline Professional experience in medical controlling Confident handling of HIS systems (orbis and ish-med) and MS Office Structured, independent way of working as well as strong communication skills and ability to work in a team Willingness to work across locations Legally required proof of immunization against measles
