We are looking for you as Head Physician (m/f/d) in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the earliest possible date.
Helios is the leading hospital operator in Europe. Collegial and interdisciplinary cooperation and the rapid implementation of innovations guarantee our patients the best possible care. This creates a unique space for your knowledge, talents, ideas and future plans.
The Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics provides family-oriented obstetrics (individual obstetric care in the attending midwife system, water births, breastfeeding advice, family rooms) from 36+0 weeks' gestation and attends more than 700 births a year, some of which take place in a supra-regional catchment area.
In the area of gynaecology, we see the future provision of care for patients in the western area of Munich and the adjoining districts, with specialized care for all gynaecological clinical pictures via our two Helios locations for specialist care in this area. The existing infrastructure at our sites enables us to treat patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. We aim to cooperate closely with our colleagues in private practice in order to offer our patients the best possible treatment.
The entire spectrum of myoma therapy is offered at the Dachau site in collaboration with the radiology department (approx. 200 MRgFUS therapies and approx. 180 embolizations per year).
In the interdisciplinary pelvic floor center, individual care is provided together with the urology and coloproctology departments. In addition to the classic surgical procedures (vaginal, laparoscopic, open surgery), the interventions are optimized by the range of robotic surgery (DaVinci Robotic Surgery). In the field of gynecological oncology, the equipment and structural requirements are in place to perform procedures for the treatment of female genital carcinomas including ovarian carcinoma (open), endometrial carcinoma (minimally invasive, including ICG sentinel ICG; open), cervical and vulvar carcinoma including reconstructive measures (vulvar reconstructions, including sentinel (Tc)).
With its Breast Center, which has been certified since 2006, the Women's Clinic is involved in the Cancer Center of the HELIOS-Amper-Klinikum Dachau. The Breast Center currently performs 150 first operations for breast cancer every year. Plastic-reconstructive breast surgery (heterologous reconstruction) is carried out internally, while autologous reconstruction is carried out in cooperation with a plastic surgery partner.
The Amper-Klinikum Dachau is a teaching hospital of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU).
