Strategic Buyer Indirect Purchasing (m/f/d)

Would you like to play an active role in shaping indirect purchasing?

Then become part of our international team! In this role, you will take responsibility for national procurement activities in the area of Indirect Spend and support international projects in Category Management - always in line with global purchasing strategies.

Your tasks

• Development and implementation of purchasing strategies in the tactical and operational area

• Supporting global category strategies through local market knowledge

• Carrying out tenders, bid evaluations and negotiations

• Responsibility for contract management - from creation to renewal

• Maintenance and further development of e-commerce catalogs

• Evaluation and development of suppliers including performance monitoring

• Implementation of savings targets and efficiency improvements

• Collaboration with internal departments and international stakeholders

Your profile

• Degree in business administration or comparable qualification

• At least 3 years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in an international environment

• Very good knowledge of the strategic purchasing process (source-to-contract)

• Experience in contract negotiations and knowledge of the legal framework in Germany

• Confident handling of SAP MM and MS Office; SAP Ariba an advantage

• Very good knowledge of English and German at least at C1 level

• Analytical and strategic thinking skills

• Strong communication skills, team orientation and a structured way of working
