For the Purchasing division, based in Berlin, we are looking for a combined with the possibility of remote work at the earliest possible date:

Strategic Buyer IT/ Category Manager IT (m/f/d)

• Management of company-wide and cross-company IT product groups from a strategic point of view
• Advising various specialist departments on the procurement of IT services, software solutions and IT hardware as well as contact person for specialist departments and suppliers
• Developing and managing suppliers and expanding cooperation with the involvement of relevant departments
• Development and implementation of future-oriented perspectives on effective procurement strategies
• Global analysis of markets, trends, suppliers and prices as well as identification of cost reduction potentials
• Coordination and management of tendering and negotiation processes as well as the preparation of decision papers and contracts

• Completed studies, several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing or equivalent knowledge and skills as well as a basic understanding of agile development methods and software solutions
• Confident and authoritative appearance, independent working style with a strong customer focus as well as strategic and analytical vision, holistic and analytical thinking to optimize overall costs
• Strong communication skills, team player and ability to advise internal decision-makers
• Fluent in German and business fluent in written and spoken English
• Confident use of Excel required and knowledge of SAP and SAP Ariba desirable, experience in public procurement is an advantage
• Proof of immunization against measles and willingness to travel occasionally on business
