Our rehabilitation center for oncological diseases is located on the Salzburg sun terrace, in the climatic health resort of St. Veit im Pongau in the midst of a magical mountain world. The center has 120 beds and is currently the largest oncological rehabilitation facility in western Austria. In June 2018, a project was also launched that is unique in Austria: the first and only family-oriented rehabilitation facility for children and adolescents with haemato-oncological and immunological diseases as well as diseases of the metabolic and digestive systems. The facility is a joint project of VAMED, one of the leading international companies in the healthcare sector, and the Salzburg Regional Hospitals (SALK). Under the motto "Everything from a single source", VAMED is constantly developing new and innovative approaches, thus securing its market leadership in the field of rehabilitation in Austria.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

• Independent performance of admission, interim and final examinations
• Carrying out all medical examinations (anamnesis, status, diagnosis, definition of the therapy goal, night service)
• Support in the implementation of treatment according to ICF
• Coordinating tasks in multi-professional care teams
• Contribution of personal medical specialties and skills

YOUR PROFILE:

• Training in general medicine with ius practicandi
• Experience or interest in rehabilitative medicine and in the field of preventive healthcare and disease prevention
• Strong social skills with a team-oriented, interdisciplinary approach
• Good communication skills in dealing with patients and colleagues
• Initiative, organizational skills & high motivation
• Strong sense of responsibility
