We are looking for you as a hygiene specialist (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

• Providing information and advice on infection prevention measures and the content of hygiene plans through regular presence on the wards and in the functional areas.
• Surveillance of nosocomial infections and hygiene-relevant pathogens.
• The independent implementation of staff training for all specialist areas and professional groups
• Preparation, follow-up and implementation of internal hygiene inspections, as well as inspections by the public health department and other regulatory authorities
• The documented hygienic monitoring of construction measures in the Helios clinics.

• State recognition as a health and (pediatric) nurse
• 2 years of professional experience desirable, preferably in intensive care medicine, surgery, oncology or similar high-risk areas
• Previous knowledge of hygiene required
• Ideally completed further training as a hygiene specialist with state recognition, alternatively we require the willingness to complete this 2-year in-service training course
• You have the ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• A high level of social and communication skills, organizational talent and assertiveness as well as the ability to cooperate across professional groups characterize you
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
