At the Velbert site, we are looking for a

Hygiene Specialist (m/f/d)

full-time or part-time.

• Development of hygiene concepts and participation in compliance with the rules of hygiene and infection prevention
• Participation in the detection of infections, prevention and control of infections through general and area-specific advice
• Training, advising and providing professional guidance to staff, especially nursing staff and doctors
• Assisting in the selection of hygiene-related procedures and products as well as aids, including supply and disposal
• Participating in the planning of functional and structural measures
• Preparing and participating in meetings of the hygiene committees in close cooperation with the chairperson, the hospital hygienist and other members of the committee
• Preparation of evaluations of hygiene-relevant data

• Completed vocational training as a health and (pediatric) nurse (m/f/d)
• Completed further training as a hygiene specialist (m/f/d)
• Professional experience in the field of hospital hygiene and infection prevention is desirable
• High level of commitment and responsibility
• Pedagogical skills to convey practical and theoretical content
• Constructive cooperation with all professional groups and superiors
• Interest in issues in the field of antibiotic surveillance
• Motivation to develop and work on new projects
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
