Hygiene specialist (m/f/d)

We are looking for a hygiene specialist (m/f/d) for our hospital hygiene department at the Gotha site at the earliest possible date.

• Surveillance of hygiene-relevant pathogens and nosocomial infections (KISS)
• Recording of infection-relevant pathogens using iNOK (internet-based recording program)
• Close cooperation with the hospital hygienist
• Support in the implementation and execution of hygiene-related orders
• Independent implementation of microbiological sampling, staff training and inspections/observations in all specialist areas
• Responsibility for the preparation, follow-up and implementation of inspections by the public health department and other regulatory authorities

• Completed training as a nursing specialist (m/f/d) or comparable certified nursing training
• Completed further training as a hygiene specialist with state recognition desirable or willingness to undergo further training
• Personal commitment, reliability, ability to work in a team
• Good knowledge of MS Office and the German language
• High social and communication skills, organizational talent and assertiveness as well as the ability to cooperate across professional groups
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
