In this interesting position, you will be responsible for the creation of a new SAP enterprise data architecture and for supporting the legacy data that is getting migrated into it.

Your assignments

• Develop and refine design proposals for the SAP S/4HANA data model and architecture, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements.

• Lead data design sessions with business and IT teams, perform data profiling of legacy ERP systems, and document findings to ensure a seamless transition to the new architecture.

• Identify and validate objects for the design phases of SAP S/4HANA rollout, ensuring alignment with global templates.

• Maintain and educate teams on the SAP S/4HANA data model architecture, identifying areas where data design impacts business processes.

• Establish and ensure compliance with data governance frameworks, integrating with Master Data Governance (MDG) and Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) projects.

• Support data migration processes, including the development of tools, rulesets, and assessments of existing mappings.

• Provide strategic consultancy, scope definition, and planning for complex projects and services, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.

• Represent the team in management meetings, collaborate with international and cross-functional internal and external stakeholders and teams, and propose enhancements to data architecture and processes.

Your profile

• A degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

• At least 10 years of professional experience in data architecture, preferably in the life sciences, pharma, or healthcare sector, thereof at least 3 years with a focus on SAP S/4HANA.

• Proven experience in leading complex data architecture projects within SAP S/4HANA environments and managing interdependencies across multiple workstreams and geographically dispersed teams.

• Deep knowledge of data strategies, modeling, integration, management, protection, and security principles, combined with the ability to translate technical topics into business language.

• Long-term experience in quality and risk management as well as regulatory (GxP) compliance.

• SAP certifications are advantageous.

• Strong presentation and communication skills in both English and German, especially when managing both internal and external suppliers and stakeholders.

• A highly organized, proactive, customer-, and results-oriented team player with both a strong ability to navigate complex, constantly changing environments and a high level of confidentiality.
