Social worker / social education worker (m/f/d)

Are you a social worker / social education worker (m/f/d) and would like to provide psychosocial support to expectant parents with professional competence and empathy? Then we have just the right job for you!

We are looking for a part-time (25.25 hours per week) social worker / social pedagogue (m/f/d) for our psychosocial service at the pediatric clinic in Krefeld as soon as possible.

• Advice on socio-legal issues relating to pregnancy, birth and the time afterwards

• Recognizing and working out family resources and burdens in discussions with parents
• Assessing individual support needs and planning and implementing suitable support measures
• Active networking with early help facilities in Krefeld and the surrounding area
• Collaboration in a multi-professional team and in the mother-child center
• Participation in regular intervision and supervision for professional reflection

• Completed studies in social work or social pedagogy

• Enjoy working directly with families on the maternity and infant ward
• Professional experience in dealing with social law issues, especially in the area of child protection
• Confident, professional handling of crisis and stressful situations
• High level of empathy, sensitivity and communication skills in contact with families under stress
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

• A multi-professional team that is in close professional contact and supports extensive induction training
