We are looking for you for the Helios Klinik Schkeuditz for the three-year generalist training as a nursing specialist (m/f/d) starting on 01.09.2025.

• During your three-year training, you will work in the various fields of nursing and be prepared for your professional role as a nursing specialist (m/f/d)

• You will learn to recognize the care needs and emergency situations of your patients, to react appropriately and to participate in care measures
• We will teach you how to support people in need of care of all ages and how to plan and document their care process
• You will complete various practical assignments, e.g. in the various specialist areas of the hospital as well as in outpatient and inpatient long-term care areas
• You will receive regular practical guidance throughout your training and be well prepared for your final exams and subsequent employment

• You have a secondary school leaving certificate or high school diploma and at least two years of vocational training as a nursing assistant / geriatric nursing assistant (m/f/d)

• You are characterized by a strong sense of responsibility, empathy and reliability
• You have an interest in medical, nursing and social tasks
• You are willing to work in shifts
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

How does the training work?

Three years of theoretical and practical training

The practical training takes place in 2,500 hours in our clinic and in the long-term care sector

The theoretical training of 2,100 hours is completed at our own medical vocational school in Leipzig

At the end of your training, you will take an oral, written and practical final examination, for which we will prepare you well over the three years

Our hospital complex with a hotel atmosphere has 150 beds and the specialist departments of general and visceral surgery, endocrine surgery, orthopaedics and trauma surgery, internal medicine, gynaecology and obstetrics, diagnostic radiology as well as anaesthesia, intensive care/palliative medicine and pain therapy. The site also has a certified breast center, an interdisciplinary pain center, a trauma center and an intestinal center.

Every year, around 6,000 inpatients and around 14,500 outpatients place their trust in the experience and expertise of our 300 employees. In addition to the medical and nursing quality, they particularly appreciate the short distances and the personal, informal atmosphere.
