We are looking for you for the three-year generalist training course to become a nursing specialist (m/f/d) starting on 01.09.2025.

The theoretical training will take place at a medical vocational school in Döbeln!

• During your three-year training, you will go through the various fields of nursing work and be prepared for your professional role as a nursing specialist (m/f/d)

• You will learn to recognize the care needs and emergency situations of your patients, to react appropriately and to participate in care measures
• We will teach you how to support people in need of care of all ages and how to plan and document their care process
• You will complete various practical assignments, e.g. in the various specialist areas of the hospital as well as in outpatient and inpatient long-term care areas
• You will receive regular practical guidance throughout your training and be well prepared for your final exams and subsequent employment

• You have a secondary school leaving certificate or high school diploma and at least two years of vocational training as a nursing assistant / geriatric nursing assistant (m/f/d)

• You are characterized by a strong sense of responsibility, empathy and reliability
• You have an interest in medical, nursing and social tasks
• You are willing to work in shifts
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

• An attractive training allowance in accordance with the company collective agreement - you do not have to pay school fees

How the apprenticeship works

Three years of theoretical and practical training

The practical training takes place over 2,500 hours in our clinic and in the long-term care sector

The theoretical training takes place at the Heimerer Schule in Döbeln

At the end of your training, you will take an oral, written and practical final examination, for which we will prepare you well over the three years

The Helios Clinic Leisnig with 175 beds in the departments of anesthesia, intensive care, pain therapy & palliative care, surgery with its four departments, internal medicine & sleep medicine center as well as the department of acute geriatrics and early rehabilitation, a radiology institute and a central emergency outpatient clinic treats around 9,000 inpatients and 35,000 outpatients every year. In addition, there are three medical care centers with orthopaedic, gynaecological, pediatric, radiological and general medical practices.

The Helios Clinic Leisnig is the emergency doctor location of the rescue association of the former districts of Döbeln, Leipziger Land and the Muldental district and is easily accessible between the cities of Leipzig, Dresden and Chemnitz on the A14 highway.
