Manager Accounting Governance (m/f/d)

In this exciting role, you will support our central Accounting Governance team in developing and implementing group-wide standards and structures and ensuring compliance with them. You will work on strategic issues relating to accounting standards, contribute to the further development of our accounting operating model and support central projects and the agenda of our Chief Accounting Officer. Your tasks

• Supporting the further development and implementation of the Group-wide accounting operating model

• Preparation of documents for relevant committees and decision-makers

• Participation in the monitoring and approval of non-audit services by the auditor

• Supporting the implementation of the Chief Accounting Officer's (CAO) agenda

• Collaboration in Group-wide accounting-related projects

• Carrying out benchmarking analyses with other international groups

• Organization and preparation of round tables and cooperation with standard setters

• Monitoring new and amended accounting standards and coordinating their implementation in the IFRS Accounting Manual

• Support in coordinating the relationship with the auditor

Your profile

• Degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on accounting or finance

• 3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting in a global group or in a Big4 company

• Very good written and spoken German and English skills

• Confident handling of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel

• Strong analytical skills as well as a structured, independent and precise way of working

• Ability to present complex issues in an understandable and target group-oriented manner
