Your tasks:

• Planning energy supply and building technology systems
• Installation, maintenance and servicing of energy technology systems and electronic control and regulation systems
• Commissioning and repairing technical building systems
• Installation of drive, switching, control and regulation equipment
• Installation and testing of safety systems
• Analyzing, testing and repairing electrical systems and devices
• After your training, you will be able to:
• Independently supervise, test and maintain electrical installations and systems as well as analyze and rectify faults
• Ensure the electrical operational readiness of building systems technology installations
• Carry out necessary safety tests on all electronic equipment and systems
• Using "smart home" to network security technology systems (access control, alarm and monitoring systems), building technology (air conditioning, heating, lighting) and communication technology (internet, telephony, call and intercom systems) to create an intelligent home control system
• Provide up-to-date advice on environmental protection and energy saving and will be familiar with innovative building and home technology
• Install and operate industrial and commercial electrical systems

What you bring with you:

• High motivation and a keen interest in the profession of electronics technician
• A good school-leaving certificate, especially in the subjects of mathematics, physics and chemistry
• Enthusiasm, independence and enjoy working in a team
• An interest in technology, manual dexterity and a great willingness to learn in order to keep up to date with the latest technical developments
• Care and prudence for testing the safety and protective functions of electrotechnical and electronic systems and equipment
• Initial knowledge of computer science to make it easier for you to access programming tasks and computer-aided work processes
