Join our dynamic international environment as a Global Category Senior Manager with focus on Warehousing & Distribution, enhancing strategic and operational planning through market intelligence and optimizing procurement processes.
Develop market intelligence and macroeconomic projections for strategic planning; execute sourcing plans in line with category strategies and identify cost effectiveness and other optimization opportunities.
Lead procurement sourcing/optimization initiatives from a project management perspective; build strong collaboration with supply chain stakeholders and strong partnerships with third-party vendors.
Drive source-to-contract procurement excellence by implementing best practices in vendor segmentation, vendor performance management, sourcing and contracting.
Develop strong analytics internally to drive cost transparency and cost benchmarking.
5-7 years in procurement/category management in an international environment, with good understanding of freight and 3PL market and warehousing and distribution processes.
Technical expertise on pharma logistics including freight, warehousing and final mile distribution, and basic regulatory knowledge for multiple countries.
STEM/Economics graduate preferred.
Teamwork, self-responsibility, negotiation skills, and communication skills; proficient in data analysis, financial analysis, and office literacy.
