As a Global Product (Senior) Manager Whole Blood Disposables (m/f/d), you take full ownership of a global product portfolio and shape its strategic direction mid- and long-term. You drive innovation, steer lifecycle management and ensure successful global launches of new and updated products.

In this pivotal role, you act as the central interface for all internal and external stakeholders – from development and production to regional organizations and regulatory affairs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Shape and develop the global portfolio strategy based on market and technology trends

  • Identify new business opportunities and build compelling business cases for strategic decisions

  • Drive innovation by initiating and preparing development projects as well as continuous product improvements

  • Define design inputs and steer lifecycle management to ensure sustainable business growth

  • Manage product launches, including launch strategy, country selection, RA planning and sales forecasts

  • Coordinate global rollouts and compile/approve POFs in collaboration with regional teams

  • Provide expert-level application and portfolio support to global regions and market units

  • Create and maintain marketing materials and Product Information Packages

  • Lead cost-reduction initiatives and redesign-to-cost projects to ensure long-term competitiveness

  • Manage product phase-ins and phase-outs in close alignment with production and supply chain

Your Qualifications:

  • University degree in science, medicine, business administration or a related field

  • At least 2 years of experience in product management or demonstrable equivalent experience

  • Proven experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration, team player

  • Experience in the medical device or transfusion technology sector is a plus

  • Strong communication skills as well as structured and reliable working style

  • High proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint

  • Fluent English skills, written and spoken, additional languages are a plus

  • Willingness to travel internationally, approximately 15% of your time
