Gain experience in digitalization projects, develop your skills and prepare yourself specifically for future management tasks in IT. This IT trainee program offers you the optimal introduction to health IT, digital health and innovative hospital IT solutions.

• Comprehensive insights: You will get to know Helios IT from the ground up and gain exciting insights into the central and regional IT areas in various internship phases - from infrastructure to clinical applications to business management systems.
• Practical practical assignments: In assignments lasting several months, you will rotate through different IT departments, work directly with experienced IT managers and regional managers, and take on your first responsible tasks in projects and day-to-day business.
• Diverse projects: You will be involved in interdisciplinary digitization projects, e.g. the introduction of the electronic patient record including nursing documentation or medication, and support the implementation of IT solutions in everyday clinical practice.
• Technical expertise: You will expand your knowledge in all facets of Helios IT – from SAP Healthcare Technology to infrastructure, business applications and IT organization – and understand the interfaces to clinical and administrative processes.
• Project management & presentation: You will take on independent project tasks, work on the analysis and optimization of business processes and present your results to various committees.
• Career prospects: After completing the 2-year IT trainee program, you will be well prepared to take on management tasks in IT, e.g. as a project IT manager, and to develop your career in the direction of digital health and IT management.

• You have a degree in (medical or business) informatics or a comparable IT education.
• Alternatively, you have a degree in human medicine or nursing sciences and have a good understanding of clinical processes and a high affinity for IT.
• You are confident in using Office applications.
• Ideally, you have initial project experience.
• You work creatively on solutions, present your ideas convincingly and think practically.
• You have a very good knowledge of written and spoken German (at least level C1).
• You are flexible and willing to be deployed at 4-6 locations throughout Germany as part of the 24-month trainee program.

• Attractive compensation package & vacation: €4,000 gross/month and 30 days of vacation per year.
