Respiratory Therapist (m/f/d)

To strengthen our intensive care unit team, we are looking for a Respiratory Therapist (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible

• Care and monitoring of patients with invasive and non-invasive ventilation systems
• Support in the reduction of ventilation times and the weaning of tracheostomy tubes
• Working closely with the medical service to treat patients with respiratory therapy, e.g. ventilation adjustment/support, adaptation of ventilation parameters
• Carrying out diagnostic measures, e.g. blood gas analysis and spirometry at the bedside
• Training all persons involved in the treatment process in the use of the systems
• Optimizing non-invasive ventilation for patients with chronic respiratory insufficiency
• Cooperation and communication with other departments
• Supporting/accompanying the nursing staff on NIV, invasive ventilation and weaning

• Completed training as a nursing specialist / geriatric nurse (m/f/d)
• Completed specialist training as a respiratory therapist (m/f/d) (certificate)
• Ideally further specialist training in anesthesia and intensive care medicine or the willingness to acquire this
• A high degree of flexibility, commitment and reliability
• High resilience, a good communicative and team-oriented appearance as well as constant patient and service orientation are among your strengths
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
