We are looking for a Respiratory Therapist (m/f/d) for the Helios Klinikum Duisburg, at the Huckingen site, at the earliest possible date.

• Independent performance of diagnostic measures such as blood gas analysis, bedside spirometry, polygraphy etc.
• Adequate handling of chest drains
• Carrying out patient consultations and training
• Independent implementation of airway management
• Initiating non-invasive ventilation including mask selection in acute and chronic respiratory insufficiency
• Setting up and monitoring invasive ventilation
• Implementation and monitoring of ventilation weaning
• Implementation of respiratory physiological rehabilitative measures
• Case and transfer management of patients with chronic respiratory insufficiency to outpatient care

• Completed training in healthcare and nursing
• Qualification as a respiratory therapist (m/f/d) according to the curriculum of the German Society for Pneumology desirable
• High level of professional and social competence and independence
• Sense of responsibility, commitment, resilience and team spirit
