We are looking for a Respiratory Therapist (m/f/d) for the Helios Klinikum Duisburg - Hamborn site - at the earliest possible date.

• Independent performance of diagnostic measures such as blood gas analysis, spirometry at the bedside, polygraphy, etc.
• Adequate handling of chest drains
• Carrying out patient consultations and training
• Independent implementation of airway management
• Initiating non-invasive ventilation including mask selection for acute and chronic respiratory insufficiency
• Adjustment and monitoring of invasive ventilation as well as implementation and monitoring of weaning
• Case and transfer management of patients with chronic respiratory insufficiency to outpatient care

• Completed training as a healthcare and nursing professional (m/f/d)
• Qualification as a respiratory therapist (m/f/d) according to the curriculum of the German Society for Pneumology desirable
• High level of professional and social competence and independence
• Sense of responsibility, commitment, resilience and team spirit
• We value communication skills and a willingness to collaborate across disciplines
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
