VP Group Consolidation & Accounting Corporate (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
Timely (quarterly/annual) and high quality preparation of the consolidated financial statements of Fresenius SE & Co KGaA according to IFRS as well as individual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code)
In addition to the coordination and overall responsibility for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements, also taking over individual preparation steps, e.g. preparation of the consolidated cash flow statement
Analyzing the financial statements of the reporting units and dealing with all related issues
Technical management of the accounting departments of the corporate businesses, i.e. Fresenius Health Services, Fresenius VAMED and Fresenius Digital Solutions.
Further development and optimization of reporting as well as consolidation and closing processes, e.g. as part of the ELEVATE (S4 HANA) business transformation project
Support and further development of the IT tools in use
Technical advice to subsidiaries on consolidation issues in accordance with IFRS
Contact person for auditors
Collaboration on projects (including the introduction of new IFRS standards and IT solutions)
Responsibility for internal controls relating to consolidation/preparation of consolidated financial statements
Management and development of the team
Your profile:
Business studies with a focus on accounting/group accounting in accordance with national + international accounting standards (HGB & IFRS)
Additional qualification as an accountant or foreign accounting certificate (CPA/ACCA) (desirable)
At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in consolidation, including in international and listed companies as well as management experience
Strong analytical skills and structured way of working
Very good knowledge of consolidation, accounting, IFRS, HGB, MS Office application, SAP FI and SAP SEM-BCS
Very good written and spoken English skills
