At the Helios Cluster Duisburg, we are offering you a full-time or part-time position as Area Manager for the Emergency Department (f/m/d) at the earliest possible date.

• Scheduling of employees in the nursing service
• Planning, organization and implementation of work processes in compliance with operational requirements in cooperation with the respective ward manager
• Delegation of implementation and responsibility for compliance with hygiene, accident prevention and fire protection regulations to the respective ward managers
• Transparent preparation of duty and vacation schedules in line with working hours in the event of absence of the respective ward managers and their deputies and if they are not completed on time
• Delegation of induction and instruction of new employees in the area of responsibility to the respective ward manager as well as participation in initial, interim and final interviews during the probationary period with the responsible ward manager
• Promoting individual employees (further and advanced training) in joint planning with the respective ward manager
• Regular discussions with the respective ward managers and the chief physicians of the respective department as well as with the responsible ward managers of the various areas

• Completed vocational training as a registered nurse (m/f/d)
• A degree in nursing management is an advantage
• Many years of professional experience as a department/ward manager
• Organizational and communication skills as well as flexibility, reliability and team spirit
• Economic thinking and acting as well as commitment and creativity
• The legally required proof of immunization against measles
