For the Helios Klinikum Schwelm we are looking for a Nursing Unit Manager (m/f/d) specializing in Internal Medicine to start as soon as possible.

• Mentoring of ward managers in their leadership role to ensure evidence-based care
• Cross-ward management, monitoring, control and evaluation of standard processes
• Personnel requirements planning and applicant management for the area
• Supporting and assisting ward managers with the structured onboarding of new employees
• Approval of staff deployment planning and coordination of cross-ward absence and occupancy management
• Guiding and advising ward managers on staff deployment planning, team development, training and development planning and other management topics

• Relevant professional and management experience, preferably in an acute care hospital
• Leadership qualification (nursing management studies or DKG further training as head of a ward/area or comparable qualification)
• Resilience and positive mindset as well as the ability to communicate empathically, constructively and in a solution-oriented manner
• Courage to think unconventionally and act independently
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

• Close cooperation with the ward managers and colleagues in the department
• Support and exchange with the nursing management and other managers in the nursing service
