We are looking for a trainee medical-technical radiology assistant (m/f/d)to start on August 1st of each year.

• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

All modern radiology examination and therapy procedures are available in our radiology center. We also have modern, fully digital equipment for transmitting findings and archiving images.

As a medical-technical radiology assistant (m/f/d), MTRA for short, you will support doctors in diagnostics and therapy. You will operate large technical equipment, e.g. computer tomographs, magnetic resonance tomographs, X-ray machines, linear accelerators and other devices for imaging procedures in order to produce X-ray or cross-sectional images of the human body. Anyone wishing to enter this profession should have an interest in technology and people.

The training content is divided into a theoretical and practical phase.

The theoretical phase takes place at the vocational medical school at Dresden Municipal Hospital. You will be taught subjects such as how medical-technical equipment works, image processing, the anatomy of the human body and general subjects. Approximately 2,800 hours of theoretical and practical instruction are planned for the training.

To ensure that nothing stands in the way of you starting your training, it is important that you also apply to the vocational medical school at Dresden Municipal Hospital at the same time. The application period is from September to April each year. You can find more information on the school's website (www.medbfs.de).

You will complete a total of 1,600 hours of practical training both at the Helios Vogtland-Klinikum Plauen and in other clinics. The focus here is on the areas of radiological diagnostics and other imaging procedures, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine.
