Intern (m/f/d) Corporate Finance

The Corporate Finance department develops strategic finance projects, advises the worldwide Fresenius Kabi subsidiaries on financing concepts, cash flow planning and investment structures, reviews and evaluates investment initiatives and international M&A projects. Through your active involvement, you will not only benefit from a varied role, but also make valuable contacts to build your network by working with experienced colleagues.

Your challenge in detail

• It is clear that you will be involved in the further development of relevant Excel and BI tools, including in the areas of financial performance, valuation and cash flow

• In addition, you will support the coordination of monthly cash flow planning for all Fresenius Kabi companies worldwide and the subsequent reporting process

• You will also be responsible for reviewing decision papers for investment projects and financing for Management Board committees, attending relevant meetings and documenting project decisions

• What's more, you will provide support in advising subsidiaries in the areas of finance and cash management as well as capital structure

• Last but not least: you will prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and support the initiation and implementation of global and strategic projects in the CFO area

Your expertise is in demand

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics (at least 4th semester), ideally with a relevant finance focus

• Very good written and spoken German and English skills

• Sound theoretical knowledge in the field of finance (especially financing, valuation, cash flow) required

• Basic knowledge of international accounting (IFRS)

• Initial practical experience in the finance department of an internationally operating company or in the consulting/finance industry desirable

• Analytical skills, initiative, affinity for numbers, high sense of responsibility and ability to grasp things quickly

• Good MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint) and ideally initial experience of working with a BI tool
