For our OR department at the Karlsruhe site, we are looking for a full-time or part-time

Operating Theatre Assistant (OTA) (m/f/d)

The position is permanent.

• Ensuring the correct preparation and follow-up of surgical procedures and the operating theaters in compliance with hygiene guidelines

• Instrumentation and jumper activities in the OR
• Implementation of OR documentation in compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with the professional groups involved in the treatment process
• Participation in in-house and on-call duty

• Completed training as an OTA (m/f/d)

• You are a professionally skilled and committed person with OR experience
• You enjoy working in a team, are able to work under pressure and have good professional and social skills
• Professional experience in the field of cardiac and thoracic surgery is not a prerequisite, but desirable
• You are characterized by reliability and a sense of responsibility, show flexibility and commitment and are able to deal with conflict and criticism
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Helios Clinic for Cardiac Surgery Karlsruhe was founded in 1995 as a specialist cardiac surgery clinic and has 96 beds, including 24 intensive care and 16 intermediate care beds. The operating theater comprises 5 operating rooms, including a modern hybrid operating room for so-called TAVI (heart valve replacement therapy). With over 1800 operations a year, the clinic is one of the largest specialist cardiac surgery clinics in Germany.
