We are the Group Sustainability Team at Fresenius. What are we about? The development and implementation of group-wide sustainability activities. Our responsibilities also include regulatory sustainability reporting as well as internal and external sustainability communication.
You will support strategic Group projects in the area of sustainability strategy with a focus on the environment and climate (e.g. decarbonization strategy, climate risk analysis, implementation of relevant CSRD requirements) and prepare workshops and analyses with the divisions.
Based on your specialist knowledge, you will be responsible for the content of the primarily environmentally relevant topics/sustainability topics, take on tasks in internal project management and supervise the control processes within the framework of ESG governance.
In addition, you will support the further development of internal sustainability standards and guidelines (e.g. climate strategy, other environmental topics, social impact).
Your key to success: close cooperation with various functions and departments within the Fresenius Group, especially with our Controlling and Compliance teams as well as the Fresenius business units.
Last but not least, you will support with technical input in the implementation / participation in the response to sustainability ratings and rankings and in the preparation of the CSRD statement and other sustainability reporting formats, such as CDP.
Successfully completed (Master's) degree in economics or natural sciences, or a comparable course of study, ideally with a focus on sustainability or governance.
At least 5 years of professional experience in an industrial company, audit, management consultancy or sustainability institution - and here in the area of sustainability/ESG regulation, project management or similar.
Experience in sustainability management, ESG environment and project management, preferably with knowledge of legal regulations and standards such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), EU Taxonomy, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
Very good verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Research.
High affinity for numbers and analytical thinking.
