Full-time or part-time specialist in internal medicine (m/f/d)

Our rehabilitation center for oncological diseases of any entity is located on the Salzburg sun terrace, in the climatic health resort of St. Veit im Pongau in the middle of a magical mountain world and comprises 120 beds.

In June 2018, an additional 82 patient beds were created in the adjoining Leuwaldhof for children and adolescents aged 0 to 18 with hemato-oncological and immunological diseases as well as diseases of the metabolic and digestive systems. The unique offer of family-oriented rehabilitation, from which affected young patients and their parents as well as siblings benefit greatly, distinguishes us in this area

The facility is a joint project of VAMED and the Salzburger Landeskliniken (SALK).

YOUR CHALLENGE:

• Independent performance of admission, interim and final examinations
• Carrying out all medical examinations (anamnesis, status, diagnosis, definition of the therapy goal, night service)
• Support in the implementation of treatment according to ICF
• Coordinating tasks in multi-professional care teams
• Contribution of personal medical specialties and skills

YOUR PROFILE:

• Training as a specialist in internal medicine
• Experience or interest in rehabilitative medicine and in the field of preventive healthcare and disease prevention
• Strong social skills with a team-oriented, interdisciplinary focus
• Good communication skills in dealing with patients and colleagues
• Initiative, organizational skills & high motivation
• Strong sense of responsibility
