To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed Supplier Sustainability Manager (m/f/d) who will support us in implementing our sustainability goals. In this newly created role, you will work with our global suppliers, design supplier selection processes from the ground up and build databases.

Your assignments
- Support and management of CSR initiatives in the areas of purchasing, supply chain management and end-of-life treatment of our products. Project-related implementation of EU regulations in the area of Green Deal (CSRD/ESRS) as well as negotiations with suppliers and other external parties.
- Creation and monitoring of sustainability development programs of suppliers and transport companies.
- Compilation of supplier data related to sustainability issues to support tender transactions, government inquiries, reporting and purchasing strategies.
- Collection, creation and further processing of supplier and customer data to determine key performance indicators.
- Carrying out sustainability audits at suppliers and other externally affiliated companies.
- Identification and tracking of relevant sustainability topics, trends and requirements.
- Support in the selection of new and alternative suppliers for MedTech projects, including packaging materials. This includes development, life cycle management and transfer projects, with a focus on sustainability and human rights issues.
Your profile
- Completed scientific or technical studies (e.g. chemistry, biology, environmental management/sustainability management, engineering in the field of environment/sustainability)
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of current regulations (e.g. HRDD, CSRD, CSR, EHS) is absolutely necessary
- Deep skills in sustainability, auditing and supplier management
- Good project management skills
- Goal-oriented and self-determined way of working with an open attitude and enjoyment of teamwork
- Good IT knowledge (MS Office, SharePoint)
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
