In the Cardiotechnology department at the Wuppertal Elberfeld site, we are looking for you at the earliest possible date for an

Training as a cardiotechnician (m/f/d).

• Independent and autonomous performance of extracorporeal perfusion in conventional and minimally invasive cardiac and thoracic surgery Eingriffen
• Assisting with off-pump interventions (OPCAB/MIDCAB)
• Provision and care of cardiac support procedures (ECLS/ECMO/IABP/Impella)
• Application and care of ventricular assist devices (VAD)
• Assistance with catheter-guided heart valve interventions (TAVI)
• Apparative support in the context of minimally invasive heart surgery ("surgical robot")
• Intraoperative monitoring of Vitalparametern
• Implementation of Blutaufbereitungsverfahren
• Intraoperative blood gas and Blutchemieanalyse
• Assistance with cardiac rhythm therapy (pacemakers)
• Assumption of tasks at Organtransplantationen
• Participation in Rufbereitschaftsdienst
• EDP documentation and quality assurance

• Motivation to work in a great, highly specialized profession
• Successfully completed training as a healthcare and nursing professional (m/f/d) or healthcare and pediatric nurse (m/f/d)
• At least two years Berufserfahrung
• Secondary school certificate or equivalent school education
• Empathetic and empathetic interaction with our patients coupled with an affinity for technology
• Enthusiasm for new things, team spirit and a cooperative attitude
• Service orientation, friendliness and professionalism
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
