To strengthen our team at the Center for Infectious Diseases (Ward 52) at the Emil von Behring site in Berlin Zehlendorf, we are looking for you as

Deputy Ward Manager (m/f/d)

• Support and representation of the ward manager in the technical and operational management of ward operations and personnel planning
• Profound nursing expertise in infectiology, diagnostics, therapy options and current guidelines as well as promotion of quality assurance and hygiene standards
• Promoting an appreciative team culture, staff management, team building, supervision, training courses
• Ensuring competent, patient-centered care in compliance with evidence-based standards
• Close cooperation with doctors, nursing, hygiene, clinic management and external partners
• Providing empathetic support and advice to patients and their relatives to ensure needs-oriented and appreciative care

• Completed training as a nurse (m/f/d) ideally with further training as a ward manager or experience in a managerial position as well as knowledge in the relevant field of activity
• Sound professional experience in nursing, preferably in the field of infectiology
• Proven leadership skills coupled with the ability to motivate and develop staff to ensure a strong team culture and ongoing development
• Strong empathy, systematic approach and transparent communication to ensure optimal patient care
• Proof of the legally required measles immunization
