For our St. Barbara ward at the Oberhausen location, we are looking for a full-time Deputy Ward Manager (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

• Deputy ward manager of a general, interdisciplinary nursing ward with primarily patients from the Clinic for General/Visceral Surgery, Coloproctology and Bariatric Surgery as well as the Clinic for Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
• Joint work and task sharing, cooperative and trusting cooperation with the ward management in their presence as well as replacement of the ward management in their absence
• Design of the duty roster and all administrative activities within the framework of the (deputy) management position
• Support of individual employees according to the respective opportunities (further education and training)
• Active participation in the further development and implementation of nursing organizational structures
• Implementation of expert care for the patients entrusted to you
• Planning, organisation and implementation of work processes in compliance with operational requirements

• Completed training as a nurse or nurse (m/f/d)
• (Deputy) Management experience in nursing with completed further training, middle management or the willingness to complete it
• Empathy and a confident handling even in challenging situations
• Ability to work together in a trusting and cooperative manner with all professional groups
• Decisiveness and assertiveness
• Organizational talent and ability to prioritize tasks
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
