To strengthen our management team in the trauma surgery department at Helios Klinikum Leisnig, we are looking for you to join us as Ward Manager- Trauma Surgery and Orthopaedics as soon as possible.

Healthcare and nursing professional / nurse / nursing specialist / geriatric nurse / geriatric nurse (m/f/d)

• Professional management and organization of the trauma surgery and orthopaedics ward in close cooperation with all professional groups to ensure an efficient communication culture.
• Personnel management and development, including duty and vacation planning as well as the professional development of the nursing staff on the ward and regular duty meetings and staff appraisals.
• Ensuring modern, evidence-based nursing care in trauma surgery, including current standards and developments.
• Strategic orientation and further development of the ward/department as well as planning of further and advanced training.
• Participating in meetings and ensuring that information is passed on to the team as well as promoting interprofessional collaboration
• Implementing the company and clinic objectives and promoting an open error culture by analyzing and ensuring the achievement of all nursing quality objectives of the department.

• Completed training as a nurse or geriatric nurse and further training as a ward manager or willingness to complete this in the near future, alternatively a corresponding degree.
• Several years of professional experience, if possible with management responsibility
• Specialist knowledge in trauma surgery and orthopaedics is desirable
• Communication skills, assertiveness and leadership qualities
• Initiative, organizational talent and ability to deal with conflict, strong social skills
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Helios Clinic Leisnig with 160 beds in the departments of anesthesia, intensive care, pain therapy & palliative care, surgery with the departments of visceral surgery, orthopedics and trauma surgery as well as vascular surgery, internal medicine & sleep medicine center with the department of acute geriatrics and early rehabilitation and a radiology institute and a central emergency outpatient clinic treats around 5,300 inpatients and 35,000 outpatients annually.

In addition, a medical care center with orthopaedic, gynaecological and radiological practices has been set up.

The Helios Clinic Leisnig is the emergency doctor location of the rescue association of the former districts of Döbeln, Leipziger Land and the Muldental district and is easily accessible between the Leipzig, Dresden and Chemnitz metropolitan areas on the A14 highway.
