Chief Physician (m/f/d) Pediatric Surgery

For our dedicated team of pediatric surgery, we are looking for a full-time or part-time Chief Physician (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

• A versatile area of responsibility in the only paediatric surgery/children's clinic in the south of Hamburg
• You will be responsible for the management team of the department and represent the clinic professionally, organizationally and scientifically
• Possibility for the further development of the department in a modern new building as part of the Mother and Child Center
• With a few exceptions, our department covers the entire spectrum of paediatric and adolescent surgery, paediatric traumatology and paediatric urology
• You will be present in your department, work in the operating theatre, the central emergency room, the outpatient consultation and the peripheral ward, and take part in the on-call service
• Currently, our hospital offers a Level 2 perinatal center for about 1500 births as part of the Mother and Child Center, pediatric surgical care of the Lüneburg Hospital (Level 1 PNZ)

• You are a specialist in paediatric surgery (m/f/d) and cover the entire range of paediatric surgical services, including paediatric traumatology
• You can demonstrate extensive experience in minimally invasive and neonatal surgery and extensive knowledge of pediatric surgical sonography.
• You have the authorization to continue training in pediatric surgery for 2 years
• You work independently, reliably and responsibly
• You have a great interest in the strategic, conceptual and business development of our clinic
• Flexibility and empathy in dealing with patients and their relatives are not a challenge for you
• Close cooperation with all external and internal partners, economic thinking and acting, cross-departmental organizational understanding, and a cooperative management style are a matter of course for you
• Dealing with EDP and the common Office programs is easy for you
• You must provide proof of the necessary proof of measles immunization

The paediatric surgery department is an independent department of the clinic. The children receive interdisciplinary care in the pediatric ward.
