At the Helios Clinic Duisburg, we offer you a position as soon as possible and full-time or part-time as a senior physician for pediatric surgery (m/f/d).

• Outpatient and inpatient (emergency) care from the entire conservative and surgical paediatric surgical spectrum
• Early and neonatal surgery at the Helios Clinic Duisburg (Level-2) and the Helios University Hospital Wuppertal (Level-1)

• Completed specialist training in pediatric surgery with several years of practical experience
• Surgical knowledge and skills in child surgery, neonatal surgery, and pediatric traumatology and urology
• Willingness to participate in the on-call service as well as for cooperative paediatric surgical co-care at the Level-1 Perinatal Centre at Helios University Hospital Wuppertal
• A high level of social skills, an open-minded personality and enjoyment in dealing with our young patients
• patient-oriented way of working and independent, interdisciplinary and cost-conscious thinking and acting as well as communicative skills and organizational skills
• optional specialist knowledge in radiation protection
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

In the Department of Pediatric Surgery, premature and newborn babies as well as children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are treated conservatively and surgically. The clinic's main areas of focus include premature and neonatal surgery (Perinatal Center Level-2), general and visceral surgery of the child and pediatric traumatology. In addition, pediatric surgical care of premature and newborn babies (Level-1) is carried out at the Helios University Hospital in Wuppertal as part of a cooperation. Care is always provided in close cooperation with colleagues in pediatrics and adolescent medicine. In addition, we are the primary point of contact for neighboring children's clinics and perinatal centers in the region.
