To support our Hearth Valve Unit (HVU) team at Herzzentrum Leipzig, we are looking for you to start as soon as possible as a

Nursing specialist / health and nursing professional / nurse / geriatric nurse / geriatric nurse / nursing specialist (m/f/d)

• The HVU is a normal ward where you will be responsible for the individual, activating, appreciative and holistic care of your patients with structural heart disease
• You will be responsible for the care and monitoring of your patients before and after transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) or MitraClip therapy
• You will assist with invasive and therapeutic procedures
• You plan and document the care measures for your patients
• You are the first point of contact for your patients, their relatives and accompanying persons
• You implement the care guidelines and hygiene standards and work closely and interdisciplinarily with other professional groups

• You have completed training as a nurse (m/f/d) / nursing specialist (m/f/d) / geriatric nurse (m/f/d) or comparable training

• Ideally, you have already gained experience in cardiology
• You are characterized by high professional and social competence as well as independence
• Your strengths include a sense of responsibility, commitment and team spirit
• You are willing to work in a 3-shift system
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
